The first step involved stabilizing and terracing the slopes through the construction of sturdy retaining walls. This phase was crucial not only to ensure the safety of the land but also to transform the space into an opportunity: a raised sunbathing area was created, overlooking the pool. From here, guests can relax and enjoy a breathtaking view of the surrounding nature.

Then came the creation of the heart of the project: a natural swimming pond. The goal was to build an eco-friendly structure that respects the local fauna and environment. The process began with a careful design of the shape, aiming for a perfect balance between efficiency, aesthetics, and harmony with the landscape.

Next to the swimming area, a pond was built: a natural system with aquatic plants that enriches the garden with a vibrant and living ecosystem.

The Ipê Lapacho wooden flooring, a high-quality and durable natural material, was used to create a large sunbathing area by the pool and a pathway that includes a wooden bridge. This minimalist architectural element allows access to the raised sunbathing area, which can be reached via a dry-laid travertine staircase that integrates perfectly with the surroundings.
The final phase involved the careful preservation of the existing vegetation, typical of the Mediterranean scrub of Mount Conero, enriched with lush flowerbeds of shrubs and ground covers that add color, fragrance, and make the garden a unique place, where every corner invites relaxation and contemplation.

The final result is a garden that is not just an outdoor space, but a true sensory experience. The care for the environment, attention to detail, and the pursuit of harmony with the landscape make the garden with pool at the new Le Relais du Lierre a special place, where luxury meets sustainability and relaxation meets nature.
