When we bought our home in the city center, we immediately fell in love with the large glass wall that dominated the living room. However, what should have been a breathtaking view opened onto a small concrete space and the street, leaving us feeling disappointed. We knew that to make the most of our new corner of paradise, we needed the expertise of professionals capable of transforming even the most ordinary spaces.
This is where the landscape designers from Pellegrini Giardini came into play. With extraordinary skill and a clear vision, they took that forgotten courtyard and turned it into a personal oasis of beauty and tranquility, where we can finally enjoy the best seasons of the year.
The panel fence, which once separated us from the street, has become a living wall thanks to a lush vertical garden covered with perennials such as Geranium cantabrigiense and Carex. Each plant was carefully selected, creating a blend of species that offers surprising blooms and a palette of greens that evolves with the seasons, bringing a touch of wilderness to the heart of the city.
The final touch was the choice of Ipé wood for the flooring and the whirlpool. The warm color and natural texture of this wood blend perfectly with the surrounding environment, enhancing the feeling of being immersed in a natural retreat, even though we are just steps away from the city’s hustle and bustle.
Today, whenever we sit in front of our glass wall, we no longer see concrete and traffic but a lush garden that has become our secret refuge, a corner of serenity where we can recharge and restore our energy. Thanks to Pellegrini Giardini, we’ve turned a dream into reality.
