We were looking for professional garden designers to complete an area of the historic park of our villa in the Marche region by creating a green corner inspired by Italian Renaissance gardens. After strolling through the specimens in their large nursery, we trusted the expert landscapers of Pellegrini Giardini.
The Italian garden represents one of the most important design styles in the history of landscape architecture. It impresses guests with its strong impact, given the rigor with which it is designed. This type of garden, with its highly refined aesthetic, is characterized by the use of geometric shapes, order, and symmetry. We selected Buxus sempervirens (Boxwood) hedges from the Pellegrini nursery, which were expertly shaped and positioned to form a truly harmonious geometry.
At the entrance to our sophisticated garden, we placed two pyramidal-shaped specimens of Taxus ย (Taxus baccata), while inside, an ancient marble fountain was added as a significant architectural element in harmony with the surrounding vegetation.
