We purchased our property over 30 years ago, and for landscaping work, we have always chosen the Pellegrini Giardini group. After several years, we once again relied on them to renovate part of the garden of our splendid villa in the Marche region.
The need for garden renovation arose from the felling of a tree that we had cared for over the years but were unable to save. It was located in the center of this area of the villa.
With great care and attention, Pellegrini Giardini and their team of companies worked with us to remove this tree and breathe new life into the garden.
This area, extending over approximately 1,000 m², is part of a much larger property of about 4 hectares, where in 2017, we started our hospitality business: Villa Olivo, a 5-star resort. Over the years, everything has been designed, created, and maintained by Pellegrini Giardini. Their team of technicians, designers, and workers has supported us in every need, from the initial idea to the realization of our dream, encompassing all aspects, including plants, furnishings, and systems.
The new garden area boasts a stunning sea view, which we wanted to highlight. First, we leveled the terrain, created new levels, moved existing trees, and added other significant trees with blooms that enhance this seaside setting throughout the year.
At the extensive Pellegrini nurseries, we selected very large plants to achieve an immediate and impressive garden effect.
Two splendid specimens of cypress trees (Cupressus sempervirens), approximately 10 meters tall and rare to find at this size, were planted to frame the most beautiful view from our home. Their slender shape adds an elegant and majestic touch to the environment.
An Erythrina crista-galli plant and a Magnolia ‘Iolanthe’ with their stunning blooms will add vibrant colors to the garden, complemented by flowering beds of shrubs and perennials like Nepeta, Salvia, Westringia fruticosa, and Agapanthus.
All flowerbeds are edged with Corten steel, a material that harmonizes with the natural look of gardens and simplifies maintenance while offering a neat and clean aesthetic.
To complete the garden renovation, we installed an automated irrigation system. This system, now essential for proper and responsible water management, was custom-made for our garden with smart control units (Remote Smart Sprinkler Control system) that allow us to manage the entire system directly from a smartphone or PC. For the lawn, we opted for roll-out turf, providing us with an immediate result of the highest quality and aesthetic appeal.
We are extremely satisfied with the final result because every detail was chosen and meticulously cared for with great attention and respect, not only for nature but also for our needs.
